One of the most famous NFL players, Rob Gronkowski comes from a football family. Except for his older brother Gordie, all his siblings have graced American football at one point. But Gordon “Gordie” Gronkowski Jr. played professional baseball. After six years in the minor league, he opened a fitness equipment company.
In a discussion with Juliet Pennington, the oldest Gronkowski brother opened about about all things travel. When asked about who would be his ideal partner, he named one of his biggest idols.

“Derek Jeter all day. As a former professional baseball player, I looked up to DJ. I read his book on my bus rides in the minor leagues and watched his documentaries. He’s “The Captain” for a reason,” Gronkowski told Boston Globe Today. Gronkowski also discussed his favorite places to travel and gave some tips. Interestingly, his brother is going to get a chance to meet Jeter soon!

Derek Jeter’s non-profit organization, the Turn 2 Foundation, has one of its regular annual events coming up. The Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament invites a number of sports personalities from across America. It’s a huge event that is aimed at raising money to help kids turn to healthier lifestyles.
