The Bay Area is buzzing with anticipation this year, as our very own San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11. Whether you’re a die-hard sports fanatic or simply want to soak up the action in a lively atmosphere, these local watch parties promise a perfect game day in the Bay. Here’s just a sampling of spots to watch in the South and East Bays.
South Bay
Alhambra Irish House: 2 to 7 p.m., 831 Main St., Redwood City. Join Alhambra Irish House for an epic Super Bowl Watch Party featuring delicious food, ice-cold drinks and great company — and multiple big screens. Free admission.
Britannia Arms Almaden: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 5027 Almaden Expressway, San Jose. Gear up for the ultimate Super Bowl Bash at The Brit. Enjoy a live watch party experience featuring food and drink specials, Super Bowl commercial bingo and massive raffle prizes every quarter. Free admission.
Distrito Federal: 2 to 7 p.m., 379 E Campbell Ave., Campbell. Witness football history at Distrito Federal’s Big Game Watch Party. Enjoy tailgate-themed cuisine while watching the game on six full-screen TVs with 10,000-watt surround sound in a festive atmosphere adorned with Chiefs and 49ers memorabilia and decor. $65 to $260 options for bar or table seating and an all-you-can-eat game day menu.
Fuze Nightclub: 2:30 to 11:30 p.m., 58 S. First St., San Jose. Who says night clubs and sports don’t mix? Fuze’s 49ers vs. Chiefs Super Bowl Watch Party including food and drink specials and hip-hop, Latin trap and reggaeton beats. Free admission before 3:30 p.m.; $20 to $100 VIP entry.
Local Union 271: 2:30 to 7 p.m. 271 University Ave., Palo Alto. Local Union 271 is calling all sports fans to gather for the game of the year at their Super Bowl LVII Watch Party. Enjoy live viewing, “Chef’s Corner” Bar Bites and a variety of libations including 49er’s 1800 Blanco tequila. Free admission.
Rosie McCann’s Irish Pub: 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., 355 Santana Row, San Jose. Score big this Super Bowl Sunday at your favorite Irish sport bar, Rosie McCann’s. Enjoy an epic watch party featuring eight HD screens with surround sound, plus game day food and drink specials and an after-party. Free admission.
SP2 Communal Bar + Restaurant: 2:30 to 9 p.m., 72 N Almaden Ave., San Jose. Cheer on the Niners while SP2 broadcasts the game on every screen. Enjoy full audio and a live DJ, plus special guests and entertainers. $4.99 to $9.99 admission.
Tipsy Putt: 3 p.m. through the end of game, 301 West McKinley Ave., Sunnyvale. Tipsy Putt is hosting a Super Bowl Watch Party featuring a private viewing area, live host, quarterly prizes and discounted 49ers Tipsy Merch, plus an all-you-can-eat taco bar, drink specials and minigolf. $49.
East Bay
Building 43 Winery: 2:30 to 8 p.m., 2440 Monarch St., Alameda. Watch the big game on giant screens while enjoying a variety of mouthwatering food, ice-cold beers, flavorful wines and creative craft cocktails. Free admission with RSVP; table reservations available for $40 to $60.
Cinco TacoBar: 2 to 7:30 p.m., 4526 Las Positas Road, Livermore. Indulge in a special brunch champagne Super Bowl watch party at Cinco TacoBar complete with live music and a special brunch menu featuring exotic mimosas. $25 to $50 wristbands with options for watch party seating, mimosa bar and buffet access.
Dále Vino: 1 to 7 p.m., 51C Marina Blvd., Pittsburg. The Super Bowl is on at this waterfront watch party featuring football on the flatscreen, plus all-day happy hour, brunch and $20 beer pitchers. Free admission.
Five22: 2 to 7 p.m., 3550K San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante. Get ready for a football frenzy at Five22’s Super Bowl Bash featuring all the football action on gigantic screens while enjoying adult beverages, snacks and live, no-holds-barred commentary. $35 admission includes catered food plus one drink ticket.
For The Culture: 2 p.m. to 12 a.m., 701 Clay St., Oakland. For The Culture’s Super Bowl Watch Party and Afterparty will feature 12 screens, full sound, VIP seating and a live DJ. Free admission; $50 to $100 VIP table reservations $10 afterparty admission.
Torch Lounge: 3 to 8:30 p.m., 1630 San Pablo Ave., Oakland. This Super Bowl Sunday Rooftop Day Party offers beautiful open air views of downtown Oakland, as well as game play, a full bar, VIP sections and fire pits to stay toasty. $20 to $25 admission.
San Francisco
Barbarossa Lounge: 2 to 8 p.m., 714 Montgomery St., San Francisco. Watch the biggest game of the year on the lounge’s massive 150-inch HD projection and 70-inch HDTV screens while enjoying handcrafted cocktails, 12 beers on tap and a special Super Bowl food menu. Free admission; $300 to $1,200 table reservations available.
Madarae: 2 p.m. through end of game, 46 Minna St., San Francisco. Watch Super Bowl LVIII live on multiple screens, including a 165-inch LED wall. Lounge and bar seating options will be available, along with a full bar featuring mixologist crafted cocktails and delicious bites from the kitchen. Free admission; $400 to $2,000 table reservations available.
Novela: 2 to 8 p.m., 662 Mission St., San Francisco. Catch every moment of the action on four HD large-format flat screens and two 7-foot HD digital projection displays with full audio of the game while enjoying Novela’s signature food, drinks and game-day inspired menu items. Free admission; $350 to $800 table reservations available.
