Flying During The Holidays? What Are You Dreading Most? [Flightmares]

ACROSS AMERICA — A record number of holiday travelers — 7.5 million passengers, according to AAA — are expected to pass through the nation’s airports between Christmas and New Year’s.
That means long lines, lots of luggage for airlines to keep track of and airplanes full of people of all generations, some of them cranky, bored and restless, or uncomfortable. Severe weather is a wild card, and delays and cancellations are always a possibility.
Holiday travel has all the potential for what we call Flightmares, the name of Patch’s monthly airplane etiquette column covering the common issues that separate a great flight from one passengers would like to block from their minds forever.
