Kyle Vogt has resigned as chief executive of Cruise, the self-driving car unit of General Motors , following a turbulent month in which the company lost some of its permits in California and paused operations.
Vogt co-founded Cruise a decade ago and was named CEO in February 2022. Since then, Cruise expanded its driverless robotaxi fleet in San Francisco and started launching operations in cities across the country.
