Caitlin Clark’s 41 points and 12 assists led the No. 1 seed Iowa Hawkeyes back to the Final Four, defeating the No. 3 seed LSU Tigers 94-87 on Monday night.
In a highly anticipated rematch of the 2023 national championship game, which the Tigers won, Clark sank nine 3-pointers, tied for the most by a player in a game in women’s NCAA tournament history, according to ESPN Stats & Information. LSU star Angel Reese had 17 points and 20 rebounds, becoming the second player to grab at least 20 rebounds in a regional final.
