Time is running out to take advantage of elevated welcome promos in North Carolina from top sports betting sites. Typically, sportsbooks provide special offers when launching in a state before reverting to the national offer after a certain amount of time.
The FanDuel promo code and DraftKings promo code offers are two of my favorite North Carolina deals because they are easy to activate and the two sportsbooks provide an exceptional mobile app experience.
What can I bet this week on FanDuel and DraftKings?
There’s a wide variety of sports available to you as a new customer of these books. Personally, I think FanDuel and DK have the largest range of sports and events available across the major sportsbooks.
Both offers are activated with any sport so you can bet the Elite Eight or a Sunday MLB matchup. Your bonus bets will hit your account just in time for a Final Four wager or any other sport you prefer.
Details of the two NC offers
FanDuel
FanDuel makes it easy for new customers to get started with just a $10 deposit and at least $5 on anything you prefer to win $200 in bonus bets. Whether you win or not, the bonus hits your account within 72 hours.
These bonus bets are valid for seven days and are essentially currency to use within the platform. You can select them as funds on a betslip to potentially win cash.
Whether it’s FanDuel or DK, the bonus bets typically work the same when you place a wager funded by bonus. You can still profit cash; however, regardless of outcome, the bonus bets disappear since you can only play them once.
DraftKings
Meanwhile, DraftKings offers a very similar offer with some slight advantages over the FanDuel promo. However, you can sign-up for both and essentially earn $450 in bonus bets from $10 in total cash bets.
The DK promo requires a $5 deposit and wager on anything. Once you place the wager, it instantly earns $250 in bonus bets before you know the outcome of the bet.
Next, you have the chance to profit cash in addition to the bonus bets if your bet wins. Even in a loss, you already have bonus funds to fund any bet you prefer within the platform.
Just like FanDuel, these bonus funds are valid for seven days and can potentially profit cash.
FanDuel and DK promos outside of NC
FanDuel — Bet $5, earn $200 if the bet wins
The main difference between this and the NC promo is the bet must win in order to access the bonus. Luckily, this means you can pick favored odds for a better chance at winning which means profiting cash and the bonus bets. Otherwise, it is treated like a normal wager that misses and you lose your stake to the house.
DraftKings — Bet $5, Get $150
The promo works the exact same as North Carolina but earns $150 instead of $250
