Lewis Hamilton Beats Serena Williams & Coco Gauff as $50,000,000 Worth Heiress Declares the “Most Stylish” Sportsperson

“Fashion is about freeing yourself — it’s about self-expression; it’s about you; it’s about slowly, over time, evolving and learning more about yourself and what you like and how you want to show up—how you want to be seen,” said Lewis Hamilton in a 2022 interview with Vogue. The man who dresses up better than runway models for a 1-minute walk to the paddock is the Fashion God of Formula 1. And a fashion heiress agrees.

Who is the fashion heiress, you ask? It is none other than Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. Lewis and Anna have had a long association. Hamilton has attended her events and parties, including his most recent appearance at the Tiffany & Co. party, where Cara Delavigne also accompanied them. And the most recent addition to this association is Anna picking/naming the most stylish sportsperson.
Talking to a French Magazine, Konbini, Anna Wintour picked the most stylish athletes. Starting with Kylian Mbappé first, she then picked Lewis Hamilton before picking Serena Williams (who is also Hamilton’s long-time friend), Coco Gauff, and Roger Federer. The $50 million heiress picked her favorites from multiple sports but the sequence of her choice was rather interesting, making it perhaps look like ranking.

But on this side of the world, some people aren’t very big fans of his fashion statements.
“The more fashion shows that he goes to”: Ex-F1 champion bashes Lewis Hamilton’s choices
Formula 1 purists have criticized Lewis Hamilton for his involvement in the fashion world. While the man who has always used fashion to express himself has never left any stone unturned on the track, he has more often than not been on the receiving end of criticism and the latest to jump on that bandwagon is 1980 F1 champion Alan Jones. Criticizing Hamilton’s Ferrari move, he even took a dig at the 7x champ’s love for fashion.

“But at the end of the day, Lewis has got to start to pull his finger out a little bit quite frankly. George Russell is now starting to give him a bit of a hiding now most times and the more that goes on, the more that will play on him. Once again, the more fashion shows that he goes to and the more that he sprouts around the place, that is not going to help him either.”
He added, “I don’t think it was (the right move for Ferrari) to be honest. In terms of increasing their share price, yes. But I just don’t think he is going to be the (answer).”
