Like Trinity Rodman, many other celebrities have voiced their support for Griner. Recently, soccer legend Alex Morgan showed her support for the basketball star via Twitter. Furthermore, NBA superstar Stephen Curry took time to talk about her during the Warriors ring night. However, nothing has helped so far.
The Russian court has rejected Griner’s appeal and withheld its initial sentence. Now, it looks like a prisoner swap looks like the only option to bring her back home.
