Harare Hurricanes (HH) will battle against Cape Town Samp Army (CTSA) in the fourth match of the Zim Afro T10 2023 at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday (July 22). It is worth mentioning that HH and CTSA are yet to open their account in the inaugural event.
Speaking of their previous matches, HH lost the tournament opener to Bulawayo Braves (BB), while CTSA suffered a defeat against Durban Qalandars (DB). Although no batter could impress from HH in their match against BB, Brandon Mavuta claimed three wickets among bowlers in the first innings. Meanwhile, Parthiv Patel was the top scorer for CTSA in their last game, as he scored impressive 37 runs off 14 balls. However, the Samp Army lost the contest to DB by eight runs.
Both HH and CTSA will search for their maiden win in the Zim Afro T10 2023 when they meet each other on Saturday.
Pitch report:
The Harare Sports Club track tends to favour batters more than bowlers, as it allows the ball to come smoothly onto the bat. Nevertheless, as the game progresses, spinners are also anticipated to gain more influence.
