Complimentary “Safari Sack” Ziploc bags are now available in the queue of Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom so you can keep your valuables safe during the water ride.
Jungle Cruise isn’t usually too wet and wild of an attraction, but just in case, these plastic bags are the perfect size to fit a phone. They’re branded as a Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Safari Sack, “now featuring the exclusive skipper zipper!” The rest of the label reads:
Holds everything imaginable, if you only imagine small things!
Mostly backside-of-water resistant!
WILD ANIMAL PROOF!* (exceptions include: baboons, butterflies, chimpanzees, cobras, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, gorillas, hippos, hyenas, impalas, lions, piranhas, pythons, rhinos, tigers, toucans, vultures, water buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and others)
There are boxes to write in your departure date and name.
Ziploc sponsorship was added to a trunk at the exit of Jungle Cruise last year following the ride’s major refurbishment.
Jungle Cruise underwent many changes in 2021, mostly aimed at addressing cultural sensitivity concerns. The trapped safari scene was updated with all new characters, a sunken cruise boat in the hippo scene, chimpanzees destroying the rest of the sunken boat, and tons of new details in the queue. The Cambodian monkey statue in the temple was replaced with a snake, and the Trader Sam appearance at the end of the ride was replaced by Trader Sam’s Gift Shop.
Ziploc used to sponsor Splash Mountain with themed plastic bags.
Jungle Cruise is currently operating as “Jingle” Cruise for the holidays.
