Donna Langleypresident of theUniversal Filmed Entertainment Groupin this regard he stated:
“I think Tom Cruise is taking us to space, he’s taking the world to space… That’s the plan. We have a big project in development with Tom…Take a rocket up to the Space Station and fire”
Donna Langley also anticipated that the film will not be shot entirely in space, but the journey of Cruise towards the International Space Station it will be the epilogue of the new adventure, not purely science fiction but with a very high adrenaline rate and full of action.
