Much like NFL fans watching from home, Peyton Manning had plenty to say about “Monday Night Football’s” unexpected breakout star.
During the Giants’ 24-22 win over the Packers on Monday at MetLife Stadium, the Hall of Famer offered playful commentary on the ESPN broadcast about Sean Stellato, the sports agent of Giants rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito, who became a viral sensation over his gameday attire of a black pinstripe suit and a black hat.
“He looks like Johnny Fontane from ‘The Godfather,’” Peyton, 47, said on the “Manningcast” to his co-host and brother, Eli Manning.
Stellato was prominently featured throughout the night as he cheered on his client with the unofficial first family of New Jersey.

But as the Giants put the game away on a 37-yard field goal from Randy Bullock, Peyton begged for ESPN to look elsewhere for their final shot.
“Don’t show the agent,” Peyton said as the cameras panned to an embrace between DeVito, 25, and Giants head coach Brian Daboll.
Despite Peyton’s repeated pleas, Stellato got some screen time as he celebrated the Giants’ victory in the stands.

“They’re showing the agent more than they do the Chiefs’ family section,” Peyton remarked.
DeVito, an undrafted rookie out of Cedar Grove, N.J., led the Giants to their third straight victory on Monday and kept their once-lost playoff hopes alive.
He completed 17 of 21 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown, all the while rushing for 71 yards on 10 attempts.

“The kid’s done a good job,” Daboll said of DeVito. “I’m proud of him.
Daboll, whose Giants are now 5-8, told DeVito ahead of the game-deciding drive, “Go out there and rip that son of a bitch.”
DeVito did just that, orchestrating an eight-play drive to set up Bullock’s field goal as time expired.
“We had to go and make it tough on ourselves,” Daboll said. “Drive down with a rookie quarterback, make good decisions, nail a field goal with a new kicker. Probably like to do it the other way.”
Though a visit to the Saints (6-7) is on deck, for now, the DeVitos and their inner circle are going to savor this “Monday Night Football” moment.
“Strictly business!” Stellato posted Monday on Instagram, along with the hashtags “Monday Night Football” and “La Familia.”
