DEPTFORD, NJ — Philadelphia sports stars and actors from iconic sports films will meet fans and sign autographs at Deptford Mall.
Throughout the winter, the mall will host a series of events featuring Eagles veteran Darius Slay, current and former members of Philly pro teams, and stars from classic sports films. Slay, a five-time Pro Bowler, will sign autographs and take photos with fans from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday.
Michael O’Keefe (“Caddyshack”), Kristen Minter (“Home Alone”) and Shaun Weiss (“The Mighty Ducks”) are among the big-screen stars attending Saturday’s event. A Sunday event will feature the Flyers’ Joel Farabee and Tyson Foerster, along with former members Dave Schultz and Brian Propp. Schultz won two Stanley Cup titles with the Flyers, clinching the 1974 championship with an overtime goal against the Atlanta Flames. Propp helped the Flyers reach several Stanley Cup Finals in the 1980s.
Two Sixers athletes — Kelly Oubre Jr. and Patrick Beverley — will meet fans Feb. 24. Fans can register and purchase tickets for each event via Overtime Promotions. See upcoming events here.
