When Alex Rodriguez faced public backlash after making an Aaron Judge comparison
It was the MLB regular season of 2020, and Alex Rodriguez was busy with his broadcasting duties. The Yankees were playing against their arch-rivals Boston Red Sox. However, the public rather got furious over Rodriguez’s comments, believing it was too early for such parallels. There was furor among the sports lovers who came across Rodriguez’s comment on Judge. MLB insider Jimmy Traina responded to the statement by posting on Twitter, “Tiger Woods, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Aaron Judge.”- Alex Rodriguez once again showing that he’s the worst.”
Another MLB insider Steve Perrault wrote, “Did I blackout or did A-Rod just compare Aaron Judge to Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.?” Whereas, a sports producer named Derrick Willand wrote, “Aaron Judge is a good/fun player but he’s not anywhere close to Jordan/Tiger territory. He’s not even the best player in the AL right now. C’mon Arod.”
