Julio Rodríguez is a rising star in the world of baseball. From humble beginnings in a small town in the Dominican Republic, Loma De Cabrera, Rodríguez has worked his way up to become a standout athlete. Having made his debut in April 2022 with the Seattle Mariners, the 22-year-old won the 2022 American League Rookie of the Year award.
Now, J-rod has made it a priority to give back and make a positive impact in the place he calls home.

Recently, the Mariners slugger Julio Rodríguez paid a special visit to his hometown of Loma de Cabrera, bringing sports supplies and smiles to the children of the community. Taking to renowned MLB insider, Hector Gomez informed the same.
His translates into, “Julio Rodríguez with the children of his native Loma de Cabrera, to whom he gave sports supplies this morning.”
As he distributed the equipment, Rodriguez saw firsthand the joy and appreciation on the young faces around him. The children’s voices rose in a chorus, as they chanted ‘Julio’s’ name repeatedly with enthusiasm.
