Combat sports fans love fighters exchanging blows, going back and forth and one fighter hitting the mat after taking a barrage of strikes. Take any combat sport and you would find fans who love knockouts. The promotions basically set the matches according to the weight category of the fighters. But in a recently surfaced video of former UFC fighter Greg Hardy, fans can see him knocking out a much smaller opponent.

The NFL footballer-turned-MMA fighter joined the UFC in 2019. However, the ‘Prince of War’ couldn’t find much success inside the Octagon and left the promotion after three successive losses.
The heavyweight fighter currently holds an unimpressive MMA record of 7-5. Besides, the former NFL footballer last fought on UFC 272 and lost the fight by knockout in the first round. With that fight, Hardy exhausted his UFC contract and became a free agent.
Since then, Greg Hardy has been looking for his next challenge and is trying his gloves inside the boxing ring.
How did the fans react to Greg Hardy’s video?
In a video which surfaced online, which seems like Hardy’s professional debut, he can be seen exchanging blows with a much smaller opponent. Actually, Hardy overpowers his opponent inside the ring and consequently wins the fight with a knockout.

While it’s pretty common to see fighters with varying skills fighting in the same ring, it’s a rare sight to see two weight-mismatched fighters sharing the ring.

One user pointed out the mismatch between the fighters. Thus, he commented, “what the MISMATCH.”
Another fan pointed out Hardy was closest to fighting a woman. He commented, “I assume the reason he’s twice the size of his opponent is because it’s the closest they could get to having him fight another woman?”
Another user mentioned that the fighter belonged to two different weight classes.
A boxing fan specified that Hardy felt just like home.
Another boxing fan referred to him as being a free agent and speculated that Hardy paid someone so that he could earn a boxing contract.
A user took a dig and speculated on what he did after his contract with the UFC was over.
