F1 video games are already becoming popular in the streaming community. Even well-known streamers like xQc and Shroud tried motorsport racing games on their streams. Furthermore, some professional F1 drivers also took a step toward the streaming scene.
During the pandemic, when the entire world was shut down, including motorsports, many professional F1 drivers like Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc became live streamers. Norris even went a step further to establish his own Esports organization, Quadrant. Recently, Norris even collaborated with the Shroud on a Twitch stream.
After the drivers, F1 teams are now getting into livestreaming. Alfa Romeo, the Italian F1 team, has recently signed deals with two organizations that are well-known in the streaming community, particularly those associated with gambling streams.

Alfa Romeo joins hands with KICK streaming
The Formula One action is currently on hold until the new 2023 season begins, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening in this high-octane motorsport. Alfa Romeo recently announced that Stake will serve as the team’s title sponsor for the 2023 season. Stake is not a new name in the streaming community, as gambling streams were extremely popular last year.
A few days after the Stake announcement, the Italian F1 team made another significant announcement. They signed a deal with KICK, the new livestreaming platform owned by none other than Alfa Romeo’s title sponsor, Stake. Because it is owned by Stake, this streaming platform has received a lot of attention.
The Italian F1 team announced this collaboration via their press release, where they also revealed the KICK branding to appear on their F1 clothing. “KICK branding will appear prominently on the bodywork of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team’s C43 at selected races, with an exciting activation programme featuring the team’s drivers to be announced soon,” Alfa Romeo’s press release stated.
What do fans have to say about this deal?
There has been a mixed reaction among the fans to the collaboration between the Alfa Romeo F1 team and Stake. Some fans have been ecstatic about it, while many others have expressed their disregard for the gambling site sponsoring this well-known F1 team. Here are a few of the Twitter responses.
