KMR’s Heidi Hydar Joins Clear Talent Group’s Stunt & Sports Division

EXCLUSIVE: Heidi Hydar, former head of KMR’s Stunt & Sport Department has joined Clear Talent Group as Director of Stunt & Sports. Hydar is the latest to leave KMR Talent, whose franchise with SAG-AFTRA was suspended on Friday following weeks of mounting problems with client payment delays.
Hydar began her career in the entertainment industry over 35 years ago as the receptionist at JHR, eventually working her way up to agent. She took a break to focus on family, but then re-entered the representation business and formed H6 Promotions with a mission to find more opportunities for athletes. After generating much success and a strong roster, she brought her athletes to then KSR, and joined their Stunt Department, allowing her to combine her love of action and sports with her industry connections.
Hydar is known for representing many top stunt performers working today, from studio films to national commercials. Her athletes come from all corners of the sports world – NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB, US Olympic games, and more. Other areas of specialization include creature acting, circus and cirque performance, puppeteers, horse work and water safety.
Operating out of Georgia, Hydar will continue to cover bi-coastal talent, and will represent the launch of CTG’s local presence the Southeast market.
Other KMR agents who have left in the last few days include commercial agent Valerie Chiovetti, commercials department member, Jamie Hernandez, Head of Adult On-Camera Commercial, and talent agent Alicia Ruskin, Partner/SVP, who are opening their own shop, True Artists Agency; and Jed Abrahams who resigned Saturday as SVP and head of the agency’s New York office.
“We are so excited to have Heidi on board. She brings an incredible roster of clients and tremendous knowledge of the Stunt & Sports space,” says CTG President Brianna Ancel. “She’s carved out an impressive niche over the years and her personal approach to representation fits right in with the CTG culture. We look forward to supporting her continuing growth”.
