New entry in the cast of Isle of the Deadthe spin-off of The Walking Dead about Maggie and Negan: the Grey’s Anatomy actor Gaius Charles joins Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan.
You remember it spin-off of The Walking Dead set in New York? What would have seen Maggie and Negan travel through a post-apocalyptic Manhattan isolated from the rest of the city and full of death, anarchy, danger, beauty and terror?
Well, Gaius Charles (Salt, Grey’s Anatomy), who according to Deadline will play Izaak, a man”ruthless, self-confident, and determined to carry out his own personal justice with willpower and his intimidation. Izaak loves his work and mixes a sense of humor with the terror it instills. He is a family man, devoted to building a safe environment for his wife and daughters. His journey will bring to light the loss that haunts him. He has patience, resilience, and doesn’t run away from his mistakes“.
According to Morgan, with its six episodes Isle of the Dead will reinvent the universe of The Walking Dead, a change that however we will see only in 2023 on AMC. The show is produced by Eli Jorné, Scott M. Gimple, Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
