Jennifer Aniston’s Oxford shoes are the new celeb obsession (which will replace the one for moccasins?)

Jennifer Aniston sports Oxford shoes + socks and jeans
Jennifer Aniston, currently filming the new season of the series The Morning Show, surprised with a new casual look, replacing the boots he loves so much with classic Oxford lace-ups. Rachel Green / Jennifer Aniston wore mom jeans, gray sweater and Oxford shoes with exposed socks.

We’ve often seen celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Ana de Armas, or Jennifer Lopez riding the men’s shoes + socks trend, but Jennifer Aniston by choosing Oxford instead is showing us the natural evolution of this combo.

The history of Oxford shoes
The Oxford (in America also called Balmoral such as the Scottish castle, and French in Italy), are historical footwear, perhaps appeared in embryonic form in the 1800s between Scotland and Ireland, and so called because they were worn by men who attended university. In 1965 Queen Elizabeth conferred on those made by the English brand Church the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
With straight, dovetail, smooth or punched toe caps, Oxfords have always been linked to the maximum expression of masculine elegance, then migrating to the women’s wardrobe. Today Oxford is the favorite lace-up of the celebr 50+, starting with Jennifer Lopez, one of the first to wear them with short socks, pouch trousers and crop top with halter neck.
