The 5 Most Amazing Boeing Business Jets

How many times have you flown on a Boeing aircraft? Probably quite a lot. However, did you know that Boeing has its own division of business jets for the private market? Boeing Business Jets, or BBJ, come in many different variants to accommodate the needs of various customers. Because of the features and amenities you can find onboard, these jets will leave you speechless.
The Boeing Business Jets division aims to bring together the success of Boeing’s most popular commercial aircraft, such as the Boeing 737 family, with the requirements of the private air travel market. Therefore, since 2018, Boeing’s aircraft have been customized to accommodate the private, business, and governmental sectors. These aircraft’s robust characteristics successfully deliver a premium value proposition in the private market, offering more significant and personalized space besides worldwide support.

What customers of Boeing Business Jets mainly look for is quality, convenience, and mobility. Furthermore, the unordinary passengers want to find onboard what they have on the ground, including offices, bathrooms and showers, entertainment areas, and more. At this point, you might ask yourself which are the most spectacular business jets Boeing has built.
1 Long-range luxury: the BBJ 777X
Among BBJs’ customers are top executives of multinational companies and heads of state. Their travel needs sometimes require them to travel across the world on intercontinental flights. Therefore, Boeing developed the Boeing 777X BBJ variant.

This BBJ can fly more than halfway around the world without stopping, farther than any other BBJ, thus reimaging ultra-long-haul VIP travel. The aircraft comes in two variants, the B777-8 and B777-9. The former offers the longest range of 21,570 km, while the latter’s is 20,370 km. However, the B777-9 has the most spacious cabin, with 3,689 sq. ft. (342.7 sq m), compared to the 3,256 sq. ft. (302.5 sq m) of the -8 variant. Such enormous cabins offer virtually all possible interior designs ensuring the ultimate comfort for Beoing’s customers.
2 Go classic: the BBJ 737
When we hear the word, Boeing, it is almost impossible not to think about the 737 family. Being one of the most successful aircraft ever built, dependable, durable, and efficient, Being could not stop the development of a VIP version of this icon.
The BBJ 737 can fly up to 13 hours nonstop, bringing customers to destinations in an ad-hoc designed cabin. This can include living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms with showers, and, as incredible as it sounds, actual full bedrooms. If you don’t believe it, look at John Travolta, an aviation enthusiast himself, giving a tour of this flying five-star luxury hotel.
3 Bringing the BBJ 737 to the next level: the 737 MAX
The natural development of the 737 family was the introduction of the Boeing 737 MAX.

The first BBJ 737 MAX was delivered in 2018. Among the distinguishing features, one finds a cabin space three times that of other business jets of the same category, 11.7 ft (3.6 m) wide and 7.1 ft (2.1 m) tall. This BBJ is exceptionally efficient and environmentally friendly, featuring advanced technology winglets to reduce drag.
4 The Crystal Skye
This BBJ is a Boeing 777-200LR manufactured for Crystal Skye and Crystal Air Cruises to provide a luxurious travel experience.
When this BBJ rolled out of production, it offered the widest cabin on a twin-engine aircraft. Besides a business class-like cabin featuring fully-flat seats, the Crystal offers a unique onboard lounge experience.
5 A dreamy BBJ: the Boeing 787-9
How could Boeing not develop a VIP version of its dreamiest aircraft, the B787 Dreamliner?
With a flight range of up to 9,485 nautical miles (17,560 km), the BBJ 787 offers enhanced onboard comfort with its larger windows, lower cabin altitude, cleaner and higher humidity air, and a quieter cabin, which is also one of the widest in the industry with its 2,775 ft2 (257.8 m2) of space. This BBJ has lured the interest of VIPs, corporate and government customers longing for a unique travel experience.
