Disney Cruise Line has released a first look at the special Silver Anniversary at Sea food items and souvenirs that will be available this summer.
Silver Anniversary at Sea Food & Beverages
The Silver Anniversary at Sea celebrates the 25th anniversary of Disney Cruise Line. These items will be available on sailings from May through September 2023.
The 25th Disney Cruise Line Cupcake is a vanilla sponge cake topped with vanilla frosting, 25th anniversary decor, and blue and white sprinkles. It will be available via amenities on the ships.
The Mickey Chocolate Sphere is decorated with the 25th anniversary emblem and filled with candy pieces.
Two desserts at Cabanas and Marceline Market will be updated for the Silver Anniversary. The 3 Layer Carrot Cake with lemon frosting will have a 25th chocolate decoration and the Disney Cruise Line Anniversary Chocolate Marquise will feature rich chocolate truffle créme also topped with a 25th chocolate decoration.
The Chocolate Cream Cookie and Celebrate Cupcake will be available at the concierge lounge. The cookie enrobes a chocolate cream cookie with dulce de leche filling into rich dark chocolate. The cupcake is red velvet sponge cake with vanilla frosting and a 25th chocolate decoration. Both are also topped with “shimmering” sprinkles.
The Vanilla Crisped Rice Treat will be offered at all Cofe Café locations. Captain Minnie is featured on a decoration atop this vanilla-flavored crisped rice treat, which is also topped with chocolate and sprinkles.
Disney Cruise Line’s signature desserts will all be enhanced with a 25th anniversary chocolate piece.
At Palo, the Chocolate Soufflé with double chocolate sauce, vanilla créme anglaise, and vanilla bean gelato will also get a chocolate 25th anniversary piece.
At Preludes and other beverage locations, special Silver Anniversary at Sea Coca-Cola bottles will be available.
Certain lounges will serve the signature Jubilee by the Sea cocktail combines 818 Blanco Tequila, Luxardo Maraschino, and fresh lemon juice with a sparkly, silver dusting and a shimmering blue sugar rim. Guests will also get to take home a bookmark featuring this cocktail’s recipe.
Exclusive Silver Anniversary coasters and napkins will be used during these sailings.
Silver Anniversary at Sea Souvenirs
The Specialty Coffee Mug featuring the Disney Cruise Line fleet and Mickey Mouse will come with specialty coffee at various Disney Cruise Line coffee shops.
The 25th Anniversary Beer Mug is etched with the anniversary logo.
And of course, there’s a popcorn bucket. The Silver Anniversary at Sea Popcorn Bucket features all of the Disney Cruise Line ships, as well as some of their characters.

Disney Cruise Line is celebrating 25 years of sailing with the Silver Anniversary at Sea celebration on select sailings from May through September 2023. The first Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Magic, launched in 1998.
Mickey and Minnie just revealed their new shimmering teal and white costumes for the anniversary celebration. The rest of their friends will also have new costumes.
Guests will be invited to join the ship’s captain and cruise director on one evening of each cruise for a special anniversary toast. They will be joined by Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie in their new Silver Anniversary at Sea outfits and the toast will feature the anniversary’s new theme song.
Disney Cruise Line was the first cruise line ever to have a fireworks show at sea. A new 25th-anniversary fireworks display will premiere on Silver Anniversary at Sea itineraries. The limited-time show will feature iconic Disney music and a new signature song. The show will be on most Bahamian, Caribbean, and Mediterranean sailings this summer.
The anniversary of Disney Cruise Line also heralds the unveiling of a brand-new membership tier for Castaway Club, which recognizes returning Disney Cruise Line guests with exclusive rewards and perks. Honoring 25 years of Disney magic at sea, members will now earn the distinction of Pearl status after 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations. As the line’s biggest fans, Pearl members will unlock new at-home and onboard benefits, which will be announced in early 2023.
Castaway Club members who sail during the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” will receive a limited edition 11×14 framed Captain Mickey art print in their stateroom. The artwork is by Disney artist Joe Kaminski.
Shimmering Seas Collection of merchandise includes a Loungefly mini backpack, Spirit Jersey, and more. Check out a first look at the anniversary merch.
MagicBand+ will also debut on Disney Cruise Line this summer.
Bookings for summer 2023 cruises featuring the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” celebration are available now on disneycruise.com, and there are plenty of itineraries to choose from:
Departing from Miami May 24 to Sept. 4, the Disney Magic will visit destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean, including Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
The Disney Wonder will depart on Alaskan voyages from Vancouver, Canada May 15 to Sept. 11 with stops in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and more.
From May 7 to Sept. 17, the Disney Dream will sail transatlantic and European itineraries, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Greek Isles.
The Disney Fantasy will set sail from Port Canaveral, Florida May 6 to Sept. 2 to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, each with a day at Castaway Cay.
Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, will depart on sailings to Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay May 1 to Sept. 8 from Port Canaveral.
