Carlos Sainz is widely known as a passionate supporter of Real Madrid. The Madrid-born often wears a customized Real Madrid jersey with the number ’55’, which corresponds to his car number. He once made headlines by turning down an FC Barcelona jersey, a video of which went viral. His favorite players at the club are Luka Modric and Thibaut Courtois. But there’s a Real Madrid legend whom Carlos Sainz deeply admires — just like many others do. Known for his fierce presence on the field, he’s none other than Sergio Ramos!

In a conversation with the NUDE PROJECT on YouTube, Carlos gave an insight into the F1 Meet and Greet sessions. He recalls a special moment that left him star-struck. Every race Sunday, celebrities from across the globe meet these drivers. Sainz names, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, and Brad Pitt amongst the many that turn up to see them race. “Do you have any cool anecdotes?” the interviewers asked.

Here’s what Carlos Sainz shared: “I get along really well with Sergio Ramos. He came to watch one race, and, when a guy from Madrid shows up in the 93rd minute, you give him a bit more attention, not that it matters, you know. You dedicate a bit more time. Instead of just shaking hands, they laugh and all. But that’s normal, you know.” The video of the two athletes’ meeting went viral. And the pictures and videos reflected how awestruck Sainz had been.

Growing up in Madrid, Sainz naturally developed an affinity towards Real Madrid
