During a daily morning show on the Disney Treasure’s maiden voyage, some of the Muppets appeared to share their favorite memories of the sailing.
Muppets on the Disney Treasure
Cruise Director Darren invited Kermit to the show, “Good Morning Disney Treasure,” to help him wrap up the final morning show. Kermit introduced a series of clips featuring Muppets Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Lew Zealand, Pops, Sam Eagle, Uncle Deadly, Marvin Suggs, the Newsman, Animal, and Floyd Pepper. They shared their favorite activities, from massages to Mickey waffles to the Walt Disney Theater shows.

Muppet performers Matt Vogel and Eric Jacobson performed live on the maiden voyage of the Disney Treasure.
The Muppets are no strangers to Disney Cruise Line. They also appear as part of the Midship Detective Agency game on the Disney Dream and Fantasy.
Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will close permanently to make way for a new “Monsters, Inc.” land. Disney stated they are “exploring ways to preserve” the Muppet*Vision film “and other parts of the experience” for guests to enjoy in the future. In a statement, The Jim Henson Company also commented on the show’s closure and referenced its “next act.”
Muppet*Vision 3D was the last project Jim Henson worked on before his death. Some fans online have called for Muppet*Vision to be registered as a National Heritage Site.
The Muppets will move across Disney’s Hollywood Studios to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
