Wow: easyJet Turns 95% Of Aerophobics Into Fearless Flyers

Summary Over 12,000 have conquered fear of flying with easyJet’s Fearless Flyer program
Program includes virtual ground course, pre-flight online session, and experience flight
£89 course runs from April to June in nine UK locations including new base in Birmingham
Anyone missing out on the thrills and benefits of air travel really needs to read this story because when an airline says it can turn more than 95% of fearful flyers into fearless flyers, you want to know about it. That remarkable success rate belongs to UK low-cost carrier easyJet, which has been running programs for aerophobics since 2012.
12,000 are now fearless flyers
In the last 12 years, easyJet has helped more than 12,000 people overcome their fear of flying and has developed a structured and responsible program that has enabled more than 95% of participants to start enjoying all that aviation has to offer, including joining family and friends on holidays for the first time.

Even better news for aerophobes is that easyJet’s Fearless Flyer program is returning next week just in time for those summer holidays to help nervous flyers take control and overcome their fears. This summer, Fearless Flyer programs will be held at nine UK airports, including Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester, Belfast, London Gatwick, Liverpool, Edinburgh and London Luton, as well as returning to easyJet’s new base in Birmingham for the first time this year.
As someone who used to fear flying, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer Course Director Mark Wein fully understands how restrictive that fear can be, but he also knows it is not that difficult to overcome. He adds that it is often just a lack of knowledge or a fear of panic attacks that is the root cause of the issue.
