Travis Kelce didn’t sugarcoat his feelings about Fox Sports replacing Greg Olsen with Tom Brady as its lead NFL game analyst.
The Chiefs tight end weighed in on the shakeup during the latest installment of his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast — and explained how they think Brady will perform when he calls his first game, Cowboys vs. Browns in Week 1.
“I love my guy Greg Olsen. They kinda did him dirty over there at Fox,” Travis said. “But I mean, it’s Tom Brady, what can you do? Sometimes you just gotta do your thing. And Greg does a f–king tremendous job.”

Jason, who joined ESPN as an NFL analyst on “Monday Night Football” after announcing his retirement March, explained why he enjoys Olsen’s work in the booth.
“I try not to be biased against the commentators and the color guys, but I think Greg is phenomenal at it,” Jason said. “You can tell he makes it a point to know what he is really talking about. … I think he’s got a beautiful blend of knowledge and experience to unleash when he calls games. It’s a joy to watch Greg call games or listen to it.”
Travis and Olsen have been friends for years and the pair, along with 49ers tight end, George Kittle, founded Tight End University, an event that brings the entire tight end community together to bond, collaborate and learn amongst their peers.
“That’s my mother f–king dog,” he said, referring to Olsen, adding that Fox “got two great ones” in the former tight end and Brady.
Travis also explained why he believes Brady will be a great fit for Fox.
“Fantastic, because he’s f–king Tom Brady,” he said of the seven-time Super Bowl winner.

“He’s going to do f–king great,” Jason said. “He’s the greatest quarterback of all time. He’s going to be able to share his insight, what he thinks about the game. He’s going to be sharing what was going on in his head while he was playing. … I can’t f–king wait for Tom Brady to call games and he’s gonna kill it.”
Brady’s deal is worth a staggering $375 million over 10 years with Fox Sports, as previously reported by The Post in May 2022.
The 46-year-old future Hall of Famer will join play-by-play voice Kevin Burkhardt in the booth for NFL on Fox after spending a gap year between his final NFL season in 2022 and assuming his role as an announcer.
With that, Olsen will be the No. 2 color commentator, alongside Joe Davis, The Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel reported Tuesday.
Olsen, who signed with Fox Sports in 2021, made $10 million annually as the network’s lead analyst and is set for a pay cut while working in the No. 2 booth.
