The NASCAR community has always been fond of the race analysis done by veterans such as Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jeff Burton for NBC’s NASCAR and Xfinity coverage. But back in 2017, Fox Sports added another element into the mix by calling on current Cup Series drivers to the booth, which was again a hit among fans. So Fox Sports naturally had to keep the ball rolling. For this season, the broadcaster has revealed that Brad Keselowski will be stepping into the booth for the Xfinity Race at Daytona alongside another Cup Series star. But that’s not all. Fans eager to tune in to the ARCA Menards Series race at Daytona this Saturday are in for an exciting surprise as well!

Fox Sports brings in the Big Guns from the Cup Series for the Daytona weekend
It’s no secret that the Daytona Speedweeks is a time of great traffic for NASCAR’s broadcasters, and Fox Sports is leaving no stone unturned in their preparations. Only a week ago, the broadcaster revealed that Brad Keselowski and Austin Dillon would join Regan Smith and Josh Sims.

The booth will also feature play-by-announcer Adam Alexander. But this time around, Fox Sports has brought along another familiar face from the Cup Series for its ARCA coverage. With the season opener fast approaching for all of NASCAR’s nationwide series, one of Team Penske‘s star drivers, Austin Cindric, is set to guide Fox Sports during the 2024 Arca Menards Series opener at Daytona on the 17th of February.
Joseph Srigley from Toby Christie revealed on X, “@AustinCindric will be in the FOX Sports booth for the ARCA Menards Series event at @DAYTONA on Saturday. Cindric will return to the booth for a pair of NASCAR Xfinity Series events this season, at Las Vegas and Martinsville.”
Apart from his appearance at Daytona International Speedway this weekend, Cindric will also take on the mic in the Fox Sports booth for the Xfinity races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway in October.

But while fans of the Penske star will be delighted to watch on as Cindric shares his thoughts on the Xfinity race live, a large part of the community is fearing another beloved analyst’s departure from NBC.
Will Dale Earnhardt Jr return to NBC amidst Fox Sports’ rise?

For half a decade, the NASCAR community has been delighted to witness Dale Earnhardt Jr’s analysis for NBC’s broadcasts. After Junior’s retirement, this was the perfect way for the veteran to remain in touch with both the racing world as well as his fans. But heading into 2024, the question of his return to the iconic booth has plagued the community, as well as Junior.
Since his contract was over at the end of 2023, Earnhardt was no longer under any deal with NBC. But for the man who’s become a vital member of the broadcast, that prospect just doesn’t sit well. He was quoted by The Tennesean, ” I’m currently working through what that looks like for me. I definitely love being in the broadcast booth and want to continue doing that. We’ve had some great conversations with all of NASCAR’s TV partners.”
Speaking of the future, Junior feels that NBC is the perfect broadcaster to continue building his relationship with. After all, it’s where he got his start as an analyst. “My home and my love are at NBC, and I’d love to be back with them. So we’ll see where it goes. But right now, I really don’t have a job in terms of broadcasting,” Junior concluded by saying.

As of right now, Junior seems to be enjoying his time with JR Motorsports in the CARS Tour and is eager for more track time. This could result in Junior letting go of the NBC Booth to focus on his JR Motorsports stint. Ultimately, do you think NBC will answer back to Fox Sport’s announcement of Junior’s return?
