It’s indeed a sad week for NFL fans to see one of the greats retire from the sport after entertaining the world for 23 long seasons. The 7x NFL champion and current QB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, announced his retirement yesterday for the second time, posting a heartfelt video on social media. Although many believe the football veteran might just make another comeback right before the start of the new season, just like last year.
Tom Brady is often compared to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, for having an ultimate career in his sport. Brady had been the face of the NFL for a good amount of time. NBA and NFL fans seemed to battle it out in the comments section of a recent post on Twitter, as to who is the all-time GOAT.

It’s no doubt Brady has had a terrific career, considering his Super Bowl rings and MVP awards. He has to lead his teams from the front and has also been the main star, just like MJ during his prime. Although MJ and Brady have been perhaps the best of the best in their respective sports, fans got into a heated debate as to who had a better career. A recent tweet from Nice Kicks, created a debate between NBA and NFL fans.
Though many fans fired shots at these legendary players, some understood they were the best in their respective sports.

It can be seen why the likes of Tom Brady are compared with MJ. ‘His Airness’ was the face of the NBA during his era, with 6 championships and 5 MVPs in just 15 seasons. Just like Jordan, Brady gave a tough time to his rivals on the field with dominating performances.
Nothing but respect between the two legends
Although fans seem to try and compare the two, there is only a lot of love and respect between them. Brady once took to Instagram to share a video of meeting Jordan at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami, mentioning, “The Real GOAT”. Both veterans have spent a lot of time together off the court. A video of MJ and Brady playing basketball went viral on its release seven years ago. As expected, Jordan did not fail to talk trash, bringing back some old times and memories.
