GOATs never have an expiry date for their achievements. Despite the fact that they have retired from the sport, legendary athletes have stunned fans time and again. Perhaps that’s why they are the greatest of all time. On a similar note, legendary skier Lindsey Vonn recently pulled a stunt so historic that fans resonated with this thought.
In a recent collaboration with Red Bull, Vonn stepped forth to ski over one of the most difficult downhill slopes. In the process, the athlete created history. With a nail-biting video on Instagram, the star invoked awe and amazement from fans who made a special request. Let’s peek into the comments section!

The Streif ski course is a challenging downhill path in Austria that has infamously haunted veteran skiers. When Lindsey Vonn embarked upon this journey, she was unsure whether she would be able to ace it. But that’s exactly what the GOAT did. In an enthralling video shot in collaboration with Red Bull Snow, Vonn attempted to conquer the course. The video, which had everyone on the edge of their seats, ended with the star’s triumph.

The path was long and winding and had different checkpoints along the way. But the star passed through all of them successfully. People didn’t hold back on showing their admiration for Vonn in the comments. Celebrities like fellow skier Paula Moltzan expressed their shock with comments like, “Wow . You are actually flying. Total grace”, “Holy s***. You are a legend”, and “Whaaaaaaat????? Not normal!!!”.

Meanwhile, fellow athletes specified how the entire video, combined with the legend’s maneuverings gave them goosebumps. Comments like, “This is….absolutely WOW! Whenever i see you skiing like this i get such goosebumps!! You are the greatest @lindseyvonn !! Never stop!”, from Romanian tennis champion Ana Bogdan, and “Got goosebumps watching this. So cool to see. Way to crush retirement life” from fellow skier Charlie Raposo, flooded the post. This also led to some asking Vonn to rise back, despite her retirement, with comments like, “Damn gurl! I think it’s time for a comeback!”.

Whether or not Lindsey Vonn would get back to competitive skiing at the Winter Olympics any time soon, the champion has set the bar high in terms of taking up and succeeding in challenging routes.
