Tom Cruise Spotted filming scenes for next year in the UK Mission: Impossible 8. On-set photos show Cruise driving a jeep while filming stunt scenes filmed at Middleton Mine in Derbyshire earlier this week, but no one is surprised. BBC report Villagers in the surrounding area were told that a movie was being shot there and would be used for car chase scenes. Tarmac, the company that owns the mine, had previously offered the site to the production company but would not confirm or deny the film’s content when asked.

“I knew I wanted to expand the cast, I knew I wanted to give each character more room to shine, so I knew this movie was going to be bigger than

That’s really the rationale behind it being a two-part movie. It’s not just that the story is bigger, but we wanted more emotion in the movie. At the time, the studio was actually pretty excited about it. And, you know, I think we’re excited about that, too. Sometimes when we’re on set, Tom will look at me and he’ll say, ‘This was your idea. Just remember this. “
