During the Leagues Cup final, the Argentine professional golfer demonstrated his skill by scoring his trademark spot kick in the shootout. Earlier in the game, he had already set the tone by opening the scoring in the 23rd minute with an impressive shimmy and a sublime shot from the edge of the box.
The match extended into extra time and ultimately reached a penalty shootout. In a thrilling battle, Inter Miami emerged victorious with a final score of 9-10. Messi’s exceptional shot during the game garnered significant attention, including from a 43-year-old golfer who expressed his admiration by sharing the reel on Instagram. Taking to his Instagram story, Garcia wrote, “This goal was unreal.”
