In fact, Ralph Lauren’s spring-summer 2023 knows no time boundaries but has in mind where it comes from and where it wants to go. Always consistent with itself, the made in USA brand has unveiled the new alla collection The Huntington library of San Marino, California, which welcomed a crowd of super guests for the occasion. John Legend, Jessica Chastain, Chris Pine, Lily Collins, Sylvester Stallone, Mila Kunis and the husband Ashton Kutcher and even Diane Keaton. But the real special guests were Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleckalias the Bennifers who, to avoid rumors about an alleged crisis, arrived in the front row hand in hand, both in total black outfits.
Under the portico of the library more than 100 models paraded, interpreting clothes of nonchalant elegance and effortless sophistication. It is no coincidence that the inspiration from the West coast translates into proposals for a multifaceted lifestyle where sport, western aesthetics, casual looks and discreet luxury intertwine. The entire range of the brand is presented on the catwalk, from Purple label dedicated to the equestrian world and nature, right down to the line Polo Ralph Lauren dedicated to the youngest, without forgetting childrenswear and the line Double RL dedicated to the woman with a decisive attitude.
In a mix of eclectic and timeless models, Californian style comes to life in raw leather garments, aged-effect cowboy boots, layered jewels, romantic skirts, slip dresses and three-piece suits with western-style frills and embroidery. The accessories dominate the scene, the cowboy hat catalyzes the attention and is the common thread of the entire collection. As a backdrop, neutral colors inspired by nature such as sand, cream, brown, aviation blue, gold and metallic colors inspired by the sunset.
