One of Taker’s most noted accomplishments during his WWE run was his legendary undefeated WrestleMania streak. It became a staple of the WWE programming for years. Taker notched up win after win at the Show of Shows, adding to his growing list of wins at the event.
In 2007, The Undertaker defeated Batista at WrestleMania 23 to extend his famed streak to 15-0. A month later, Bill Simmons talked about if The Undertaker should be considered ahead of the likes of Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, Roger Federer, and Derek Jeter, because of his WrestleMania record.

Simmons came up with a hilarious answer, one that made The Undertaker’s achievements look ‘cheap’ in front of all these other legends. He jokingly said ‘Taker’s accomplishments were tainted because none of the other athletes, “Died and came back to life.”
This was a clever reference to ‘ The Deadman’ character, Taker played for years in WWE. The Undertaker portrayed a supernatural gimmick in WWE, which saw him come back from the dead quite a few times. Simmons took a light-hearted jab at the many ‘resurrections’ of The Undertaker during his pro wrestling days.

The Phenom didn’t feel Brock Lesnar had to end his streak
The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak, which became a part of his persona, ended abruptly at the WrestleMania 30. Brock Lesnar became the first person to beat Taker at ‘Mania, thus becoming the ‘1’ in 21-1.
A few years ago, The American Badass revealed on the Broken Skulls Sessions with Stone Cold Steve Austin that he didn’t feel Lesnar should’ve been the one to end his streak. He said, “If we were going to break it, I wanted to make sure that it was for the right person. I personally didn’t think Brock needed it.”
