Mission: Impossible 7 Dolby Poster: Tom Cruise Hangs On For Dear Life In Dead Reckoning Stunt

Tom Cruise’s thrilling train stunt is highlighted in the new Dolby poster for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the upcoming seventh Mission: Impossible film will see Cruise’s superspy Ethan Hunt return to face off against a new villain played by Esai Morales. The sequel will feature Cruise’s most daring stunts yet, including a motorcycle jump off a cliff and a thrilling sequence involving a steam train.

Now, ahead of the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One release date next month, Paramount Pictures has shared the new Dolby poster for the film. Check out the new poster below:
The poster highlights the film’s big train action sequence, which features Cruise dangling off the end of a car and hanging on for dear life. Glimpses of the sequence have previously been show off in the movie’s trailers.
What To Expect From Mission: Impossible 7’s Stunts
It wouldn’t be a Mission: Impossible film without big stunts and action set pieces, and Dead Reckoning Part One certainly seems to be delivering in this regard. One of the first big sequences shown off from the film is the biggest stunt of Cruise’s career thus far, with the actor jumping a motorcycle off of a cliff. After driving off of a large ramp, the star then pulls a parachute and glides to safety.
Of course, the action doesn’t stop there, with Cruise shown in the Mission: Impossible 7 trailer fighting with Morales atop a moving steam train. As behind-the-scenes material and trailers have shown, Cruise will dangle over a cliff edge during this sequence before the train eventually crashes. In addition to these major sequences, Mission: Impossible 7 looks to feature an array of foot and car chases, with one notable one taking place on the streets of Rome.
While the Mission: Impossible franchise is now known for its big set pieces, it often also excels in smaller moments of intense fight choreography, as during the bathroom fight in Mission: Impossible – Fallout. The trailer shows several of these more intimate fight scenes, with Rebecca Ferguson’s Ilsa facing off against Morales’ villain on a bridge in Venice. Many of the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One stunts have now been teased in one way or another, but it’s very likely that a number of surprising action scenes have yet to be revealed.
