Jets games leaving ESPN NY radio for classic rock station Q104.3

The Jets are ready to rock.
With ESPN New York radio leaving its 98.7 FM signal, the Jets are moving their radio game broadcasts from the sports station over to classic rock station Q104.3, a source confirmed to The Post’s Brian Costello.
The move to 104.3 FM will go into effect for the 2024 season.

ESPN New York, which is controlled by Good Karma Brands and is the home of “The Michael Kay Show,” is giving up the 98.7 FM signal on Aug. 31 and will focus on its 1050 AM signal along with digital distribution.
ESPN had been paying more than $10 million a year for the 98.7 FM signal.
Knicks and Rangers games will still air on ESPN New York despite the lack of an FM station, The Athletic reported.
ESPN Radio has aired Jets games for more than two decades, with Bob Wischusen and Marty Lyons serving as the broadcast team during that time.
They’re expected to remain the team’s radio duo, per The Athletic.

The new station, 104.3 FM, has been a classic rock station since 1996.
