If you had told us that we’d witness 100 boats carrying some of the best athletes in the world across the Seine, we wouldn’t have believed you! But the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony was one for the history books, and many still can’t seem to talk about it. But, likely, this isn’t the last time we see him in Paris. We already know that the next location for the Summer Games will be Los Angeles. And it looks like the Mission: Impossible star might be pivotal in them taking over.

While no one knows what to expect from the Closing Ceremony, one piece of information has been made public. The French capital’s Mayor Anne Hidalgo will hand over the Olympic flag to L.A.’s Mayor Karen Bass, signifying them handing over the Summer Games to the next host city. However, Deadline reported that it will be a little more grandeur. “Expect a major Hollywood production,” it wrote, quoting a“well-positioned source”.
