BTS stars Jimin and Jung Kook will return to the spotlight in Disney+‘s travel reality show Are You Sure?!, which premieres August 8 on the platform.
Filmed immediately after Jung Kook’s viral performance on Good Morning America in July 2023, Are You Sure?! follows the two youngest members of BTS as they spend time unwinding together across three scenic locations.
In July last year, Jung Kook surprised U.S. fans by performing his first official solo single, “Seven,” as part of Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series in Central Park.
Filmed across New York state, Korea’s Jeju Island and Sapporo, Japan, the eight-part Are You Sure?! follows him and Jimin as they eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe and road trip together, before embarking on their much-publicized military service. Band member Jin recently completed his duties, which impacts all South Korean men aged between 18 and 35.
Two episodes will premiere in August, with one new episode released every Thursday after that, through to September 19.
With Are You Sure?!, Disney+ continues to expand its BTS content library, which already includes BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, an eight-part docuseries about the band’s first 10 years, as well as BTS: Permission to Dance On Stage – LA, a 4K concert film featuring BTS’ live performance at Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium in November 2021.
Other shows on Disney+ featuring BTS members include Suga: Road to D-Day, a documentary following BTS member SUGA as he travels from Seoul to Tokyo, Las Vegas and beyond in search of musical inspiration for his latest album ‘D-DAY’; J-hope in the Box, a behind the scenes documentary showcasing the creation of J-hope’s first solo album, ‘Jack in the Box’ and In the Soop: Friendcation, a travel reality show that includes BTS’ V alongside other stars.
