Tom Cruise has “cooled things down” with younger gal pal Elsina Khayrova, according to insiders. But the “Top Gun” star and the Russian socialite are still in touch, we hear.
“Tom felt things were moving too fast, especially in the media,” an insider said of the relationship, adding, “he wasn’t there yet, so he’s cooled things down, but they are still in touch.”
The insider also told us that, “Tom wants to go slow with whoever he sees, as he feels he’s been burned by several of his exes.”
The source said that Cruise had wanted to keep the romance more private.
The parting of ways comes after Khayrova recently became Cruise’s official girlfriend, according to reports, and sources told Page Six that he’d even met her kids.

Our source said that the door isn’t completely closed. “Some in Tom’s group of acquaintances say it’s over, but with Tom you never really know how that will happen,” they added.
Then again, Khayrova also has “her own fortune that allows her to do as she pleases.”
The “Risky Business” star, 61, was first romantically linked to the millionaire divorcee, 36, in December after the pair cozied up at a party in London. Since then, the pair had been spending a lot of time together.

According to The Sun which first reported that the couple has broken up, “There are no hard feelings between them and for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course.”
Sources told the outlet that Cruise wants to remain friends as they live in the same apartment block in London.
“To end things on a bad note would have been awkward if they’d bumped into each other in the lift,” an insider told the outlet.

Page Six has reached out to Cruise’s reps for comment.
Cruise met Khayrova when a friend brought her to one of his exclusive Sunday tea parties at his Hyde Park penthouse late last year, a source previously told Page Six.
Insiders told us that Cruise feels “more comfortable” in London than in Los Angeles, and had been hosting the weekly gatherings in the afternoon for an elite crowd.

In June 2022, Page Six exclusively reported that Cruise was shopping for apartments in the UK after falling in love with London.
Cruise and Khayrova were guests at the London Air Ambulance gala attended by Prince William, who was the guest of honor earlier this month.
Khayrova filed for divorce from Russian oligarch and diamond dealer Dmitry Tsetkov in 2022.

The exes, who separated in 2020, share two children.
Their split made headlines as millions were in dispute, including a mansion, five London apartments, two luxury sports cars, designer jewelry, and artwork by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Marc Chagall.
Cruise, for his part, was previously married to actresses Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.
The actor shares daughter Isabella, 30, and son Connor, 28, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, as well as daughter Suri, 17, with ex-wife Katie Holmes.
