What a night it was for NFL fans. It was arguably a perfect treat with dramatic finishes in both the Championship games. The AFC Championship game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs was a true nail-biter. QB Patrick Mahomes led his Chiefs to a victory, as they reached the Super Bowl for the third time in the last four years.
Furthermore, Patrick Mahomes had a similar game to that of Bulls legend Michael Jordan in the 1997 NBA Finals. The Kansas City Chiefs are now set to face the Philadelphia Eagles next week. Fans had high praise for the Chiefs superstar for leading his team to victory, despite not being 100% healthy.

Mahomes has been dropping MVP numbers all season and has a great shot at the MVP this year. The 6’2″ QB played the game with an ankle injury to get past the Bengals, similar to how Michael Jordan, in the 1997 Finals series against the Utah Jazz, played the entire game with the flu. He did not just take part in the game, but also torched the Jazz with a 38-point performance to win the game and later on, the series.
With his ankle injury being the main talking point before the game, Mahomes did what he had to do to ensure his team gets another shot at lifting the Lombardi trophy.
Here are some reactions from fans on Twitter:
In a recent tweet from ESPN, Chiefs players trolled Bengals QB Joe Burrow after the game. Fans are hyped for the Super Bowl clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chiefs. One of the most awaited match-ups will be between both QBs, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts.
