Buffalo Bills safety player Damar Hamlin’s collapse on the field during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday has shaken the sports world. Various athletes, including LeBron James and Donovan Mitchell, came forward to send their prayers and wish a speedy recovery for Hamlin. However, many athletes bashed a renowned sports journalist, Skip Bayless for his “insensitive” take on the subject, including LeBron’s former teammate.

The FS1 analyst wrote, “No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”
His message came across as tone-deaf to many people. Former NFL player Jacob Hester recommended him to “have a heart”, with Patrick Peterson and Darelle Revis also slamming the analyst for his tweet. NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins also called Bayless out.
Kyle Kuzma said that Skip Bayless has had a reputation for speaking “insensitive things” for far too long. Just a few weeks ago, Bayless fired at Shannon Sharpe. He said that Sharpe is jealous of Tom Brady, because Brady was a “better” player. This was just another instance of Bayless being Bayless.
