Aaron Judge has been phenomenal for the New York Yankees this season. Having played for only seven seasons in Major League Baseball, Judge has set his bar too high to reach for any current player. Not just in terms of his batting, Judge is phenomenal in so many ways.

But was Judge always destined to be a great baseball player? Not many people know this, but the Yankee is an adopted kid to his parents, Wayne Judge and Patty Judge. And in his own words, he has been nothing but grateful to have them as his parents.

Aaron Judge is glad that his foster parents were strict in his younger days
Per an old report in the New York Post, Aaron Judge opened up about his younger days. The single-season American League HR record holder revealed how his parents always prioritized education over sports. Judge said his parents would not let him go outside and spend time with his friends.

“I wanted to go outside and play with my friends or play some video games, but they were tough on me,” he said.

But the Yankees slugger also admitted that his parents did the right thing for him. Even though he did not like it as a kid, Judge heaped praise for his parents.
“They’d say, ‘Hey, you’ve got homework to do. You’ve got to finish your math homework and science homework. Then if you have time left over before dinner, you can go play. Something like that. I didn’t like it as a kid. But looking back on it, I really appreciate what they did for me,” the Yankee added.

Is this the year for Judge and the Yankees?
Thanks to Aaron Judge and his incredible form, the New York Yankees have their offense sorted this season. Not that Judge is carrying the Pinstripes’ offense alone, but the MVP favorite has been running riots this season. And at times, he has taken his team home on his own.

Although the Yankees have a brilliant hitter in Judge by their side, it might not be enough to win the championship. Because there are teams like the LA Dodgers, Astros, and even the braves, who have a better roster than the Pinstripes.
