Northern Michigan Realtor joins ‘The American Dream’ travel show

Dean Bach, a Northern Michigan resident and Realtor with Christie’s International Real Estate, will be joining “The American Dream” as an on-air host.
“The American Dream,” an Emmy-nominated show airing on HGTV, the Travel Channel and other major streaming platforms, announced the addition of Bach to its cast in a Dec. 8 press release. Bach, who is described as a multi-market luxury real estate expert and media personality, will represent Michigan, South Florida and the Florida Keys, and Aruba on the show.
“I’m honored to join ‘The American Dream’ and to shine a spotlight on the people, properties and culture that make these regions so special,” said Bach in the release. “From Northern Michigan’s four-season lifestyle to the energy of the Florida Keys, to the unmatched beauty of Aruba, I look forward to telling stories that celebrate community, innovation and the dream of home.”
According to the release, ”The American Dream” highlights “real stories of lifestyles, neighborhoods and real estate through the lens of top media-savvy professionals across the country. Each episode features uplifting, community-driven storytelling designed to inspire and inform audiences nationwide.”
Bach’s first episodes are set to begin filming in early 2026. In an email, Bach said his first shoot will feature a chalet-style A-frame home near Nub’s Nob in Harbor Springs.
