Augusta sisters’ charms sold by L.L.Bean and in downtown store

Two sisters started a side-hustle business in 2017 selling handcrafted bag charms to fund their travels.
The business, Freshwater Curated Goods, grew into a thriving brand with a storefront in downtown Augusta.
Freshwater Curated Goods secured an exclusive contract to supply its products to national retailer L.L. Bean.
This is the story of two sisters who loved to travel together, but needed a way to pay for those trips.
Their solution: In 2017, they started a side-hustle online business to sell their unique, handcrafted acrylic bag charms. Brianne Martin handled the design work, and Danielle Harmadi made the products.
And with that, Freshwater Curated Goods was born.
Fast forward a few years, and that dream has turned into a thriving business with a downtown Augusta storefront and an exclusive contract to supply their products to L.L. Bean, the classic American retailer known for high-quality clothing, outdoor gear, and home goods.
Freshwater is inspired by the coast.
