A new Loungefly backpack and a small collection of other travel-oriented items themed to Universal Studios is now available for CityWalk guests.
Universal Studios Collection
Universal Parks and Universal Pictures fans alike may enjoy this new batch of merchandise themed to the company as a whole. The new items include a keychain, lanyard, refillable Freestyle cup, and a collectible Loungefly backpack.
Much of the collection leans into the company’s long history in cinema. Universal Pictures traces its roots to 1912, making it one of the oldest movie studios still in operation. Over the decades, the studio evolved through multiple ownership changes and expanded its portfolio to encompass themed experiences through parks around the globe.
Universal Studios Florida opened on June 7, 1990 as a working studio and theme park inspired by the company’s film history. The park was originally designed to combine behind-the-scenes production elements with major attractions based on popular movies, though it gradually shifted away from its “working studio” concept as guest demand focused more on immersive rides and themed lands.
Location
We found all these items at a merchandise kiosk located just outside of Margaritaville in Universal’s CityWalk.
