Apparently, Tom Cruise gave a rather peculiar advice to Emily Blunt on the set of Edge of Tomorrowtheir famous 2014 action film. The actress talked about the filming of the aforementioned film during the latest episode of the podcast called “Smartless“, with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes.

The stars chatted about Blunt’s career highlights, followed by Edge of Tomorrow. Emily opened up about her experience on set, revealing that the metal suits she and Tom sport during sequences in the film were damn heavy and difficult to put on.
The actress admitted she was freaking out: “We had to wear these huge jumpsuits which I think would have been amazing if we had done them in CGI, but we wanted them to look real. The word ‘royalties’ sounds cool but there really wasn’t anything ‘cool’ about these dresses at all.”
