Travelers planning train trips this winter can save money during Amtrak’s winter flash sale.
The nationwide sale, which launched Thursday, is good for coach class seats on some of Amtrak’s most popular trains as well as business class seats on Acela. The discount, which is available through Nov. 14, is good for trips taken between Dec. 2 and March 15, 2025.
“Discounts offered during the National Winter Travel Flash Sale provide guests the opportunity to take convenient, comfortable, and more sustainable trips between the biggest cities in the country — New York City, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Boston — aboard the Acela or experience some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes on other trains to Chicago, Los Angeles or Dallas,” said Eliot Hamlisch, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Amtrak, in a statement.
