PHOTOS: Disney Treasure’s Aladdin-Inspired Grand Hall Features References to Other Disney Cruise Line Ships

As with the Disney Wish, the atrium of the new Disney Treasure cruise ship is considered a “Grand Hall.” While the Wish took inspiration from “Cinderella,” the Treasure has a Grand Hall inspired by the palace of Agrabah from “Aladdin.”
Disney Treasure Grand Hall
The Grand Hall features a color scheme of deep blues and golds. Swirls of light run up the side of the staircase and star-like lights dot the ceiling. Guests will enter the ship through the Grand Hall, which is on deck 3. Decks 4 and 5 look down on it.
Jasmine & Aladdin Statue
Each Disney Cruise Line ship has a character statue in the atrium. The Disney Treasure’s bronze statue depicts Aladdin and Jasmine flying on the Magic Carpet. Plants are in a flowerbed beneath the statue, which is secured on the staircase.
A detailed statue of the Magic Lamp is on a dais at the base of the stairs, where Cinderella’s glass slipper sits on the Wish.
Stage
The stage opposite the statue is for occasional performances and character meet and greets. The Treasure “Sea”kers perform retellings of Disney stories.
The proscenium features a pattern similar to the architecture of Jasmine’s garden. Light blue panels to the side are decorated with purple flowers and tangerines. Abu is pictured hanging out on a vine. Three-dimensional vines of pink flowers run up the walls.
A mosaic image of Rajah, Jasmine’s pet tiger, is on a panel above a flowerbed. The ramp to the stage is behind this panel while stairs are in front.
A balcony above the stage has green curtains and is framed by windows. Characters also appear up here for performances and special greetings.
Details
The carpet is mainly blue with white flower designs. In the center and around the edges are large green and orange designs resembling peacocks.
A large Arabian-style lantern hangs from the ceiling on deck 5. Small lanterns hang around the large light, each featuring a design inspired by the atrium statue on a Disney Cruise Line ship.
A glass slipper is on this lantern, representing Cinderella and her glass slipper in the atrium of the Disney Wish.
Donald’s profile silhouette on another lantern represents his statue on the Disney Dream. A Minnie Mouse icon, including her bow, represents her statue on the Disney Fantasy.
The Mickey Mouse icon is for Mickey’s statue on the original Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Magic. There is a seashell for Ariel’s statue on the Disney Wonder.
Of course, the Treasure’s Aladdin statue is also represented via a Magic Lamp design.
The Disney Treasure sets off on its maiden voyage on December 21. Check out our photos of the Treasure’s Jade Cricket Café, Periscope Pub, Skipper Society Lounge, Scat Cat Lounge, and Haunted Mansion Parlor.
