The Columbia Central boys basketball team edged Napoleon 49-46 on Tuesday.
Nolan Schiel led the Eagles with 19 points. David Munro added 13.
Tyler Nall had 23 points to lead the Pirates.
Michigan Center 78, Homer 45: The Cardinals pulled away in the second half for a win over the Trojans.
Leading 18-13 after one, Michigan Center put 24 points on the board in the second to take a 42-21 lead into the break.
Travis Collins and Jayden Watson each had 16 points. Tre Collins had 15.
Leslie 57, Vandercook Lake 40: A first-quarter shutout helped Leslie build a 19-0 lead after one and a 29-9 lead at halftime.
The ‘Hawks got 19 points from Roman DeRose, with Miles Allard adding 14 and Joel Cranmore chipping in nine.
Todd Adkins had 14 points for the Jayhawks. Hunter Kurzynowski added eight.
Jonesville 75, East Jackson 30: A quick start helped the Comets pick up a win over East Jackson. Jonesville led 23-4 after one, 45-15 at halftime and 61-22 through three.
Kaleb Males had 20 points and eight rebounds for Jonesville. Caleb Blonde had six assists, six steals and six rebounds. Mason Jordan and Reece Rundquist each scored 10.
Jackson Christian 53, Tekonsha 31: The Royals picked up a big win.
Jayden Schnitkey had 20 points, six steals and five assists for Jackson Christian. Daniel Loew added 10 points and nine rebounds. Kyler Coons had nine points and six rebounds.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Columbia Central 43, Morenci 26: The Golden Eagles knocked off Division 4 powerhouse Morenci.
Gabby Gaydosh had 15 points for Columbia Central. Amiyah Lamka added nine.
Jackson Christian 66, Tekonsha 14: The Royals cruised to a win with Rennie Huff putting up 22 points and seven steals.
Johannah Loew had 16 points, eight steals, seven rebounds and five assists. Abbie Huff had eight points and seven steals.
