Summary The Premier League TOTS celebrates the division’s best-performing players this campaign.
Special versions of Mateta and Kluivert can be picked up in the TOTS Premier League Cup Objective.
It has strict squad requirements, though, with a max squad rating of 87 asked for.
Team of the Season (TOTS) in EA Sports FC 25 is well and truly kicking. After the early success of the Ligue 1 TOTS, now it is the Premier League’s turn to take centre stage. It’s widely considered the best division in the world, and that’s highlighted in the TOTS.
Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland all feature in the main squad, whilst there are several players you can earn via Objectives and Squad Building Challenges. You can unlock two TOTS-inspired cards in the TOTS Premier League Cup, which was released on Monday, May 5th.
The Objective is only available until the end of the Premier League TOTS — Friday 9th May, 6PM BST — so you will have to move quickly if you want to pick up two unique and interesting Honourable Mentions. We have outlined every detail you need to know about it to make your progress slightly quicker.
TOTS Premier League Cup Format
The TOTS Premier League Cup follows the rules of the ‘Long Range’ mode. It takes inspiration from basketball, with goals from outside the box counting as two, so it means you might have to change your style of play. While you can still score goals within the box, it’s more efficient to try and score from further away as it will allow you to build a greater lead.
With the mode encouraging gamers to experiment with long-distance shots, it can result in more chaotic, exciting, and maybe even more catastrophic matches. Thankfully, you are not limited to a set number of entries as well. Up until the end of the Objective on May 9th, you can try to win the 12 matches required as many times as you like.
On paper, this means it shouldn’t be too challenging to unlock every reward. You can take as long – within means – or as little as you like, and the relaxed nature of the mode is a stark contrast to the usual EAFC 25 competitions. Champions, for example, is always intensely competitive and stressful.

TOTS Premier League Cup Squad Requirements
It is now incredibly easy to secure some of the world’s best players in EAFC 25 Ultimate Team. However, for this Objective, you won’t be able to use all of them. They are not as complicated as the Fantasy FC League squad requirements, which were well-known for being strict and challenging, but they will still force you to adapt.
Your team’s overall rating must be no higher than 87 in the TOTS Premier League Cup, and you can’t ‘cheat’ by putting seven bronze players on the bench to lower it; the whole squad must be gold cards. The smartest strategy for meeting these requirements involves putting seven 75-rated players on the bench and then adjusting to see how many world-class players you can fit in your team.
Alongside this, you also have to use at least one English player. However, with the EFL TOTS also coming out at the same time as the Premier League TOTS, this shouldn’t be an issue. The Three Lions have so many talented players in the EAFC 25 universe, including 93-rated TOTS Jay Stansfield. The full requirements have been outlined below.

TOTS Premier League Cup Rewards
Just like everything else in EAFC 25, you need to have some world-class rewards at the end of the journey to make it worthwhile. The packs you secure here are unlikely to drastically change your team, but they will help you continue to work towards some of the best SBCs currently available.
To begin, if you win just one match, you secure an 83+ x2 Rare Gold Players Pack, which foreshadows the rest of the rewards. Notably, at four wins, you get an 84+ x5 Rare Gold Players Pack alongside 1500 SP. If you have the Premium Pass unlocked, this will get you one and a half levels closer to unlocking the final reward — 96-rated Immortals Icon Franck Ribery.
Two wins later – at six – you pick up a TOTS Honourable Mentions Justin Kluivert, rated at 90, whilst the following EVO consumable and packs make it incredibly worthwhile to continue. Winning 12 matches will take at least a couple of hours, unless you get lucky with ‘rage quits’, but you do pick up some helpful packs late on.
At both 10 and 12 wins, you get an 83+ x10 Rare Gold Players Pack, whilst – when you complete the final objective – you also get a TOTS Honourable Mentions Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Frenchman has been in fine form for FA Cup finalists Crystal Palace, and his rating, 91, means he will likely also be eligible for future Evolutions. The full rewards have been outlined in the table below.
