Take off on a private yacht or a hot-air balloon ride through special packages offered by Connecticut’s Hyatt Regency Greenwich. These fall experiences, available through Nov. 15 (weather dependent), let you enjoy foliage views with a unique twist. Choose the Yacht Escape and enjoy a half-day tour aboard a Hinckley Talaria 44 as you explore Long Island Sound and the Connecticut coast. Or opt for the Hot Air Balloon Adventure and enjoy a one-hour private balloon ride for up to four people (ages 6 and older) over Greenwich and the coastline. Both experiences include luxury car transfers between the hotel and marina or ballooning site, a one-night stay in a king-size room or presidential suite, a $40 credit for breakfast at Glenna’s Market, and a welcome gift (a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board). The recently renovated Hyatt Regency Greenwich has a new moonlit garden bar that serves craft cocktails and shareable plates, and is located just a 45-minute train ride from New York City. Packages range from $3,500 (king) to $4,000 (presidential suite) for the balloon adventure and $5,500 (king) to $6,000 (presidential suite) for the yacht tour, not including taxes. www.hyattregencygreenwich.com

Neon City’s new outdoor festival
Las Vegas launches its first-ever Neon City Festival, Nov. 22-24, an open-air music and culinary event that takes over downtown from Fremont Street Experience and the Arts District to The STRAT Hotel, Casino, and Tower. This free all-ages event promises live music on four outdoor stages (see headliners Alison Wonderland, Neon Trees, the All-American Rejects, and Seven Lions, among many other bands), pop-up performances, a fireworks show, laser art shows, and a special 3-D-motion graphic show on “Viva Vision,” which claims to be the world’s largest LED canopy screen. Food vendors dish up special offerings from local restaurants — wood-fired pizza, dim sum dumplings, authentic Latin empanadas, lobster rolls, and sushi. Joel’s Chophouse brings BBQ pork belly sliders and short rib poutine from celebrity chef Joe Ott’s newest Vegas restaurant, Joel’s Chophouse. For $100 (per day), enjoy an all-you-can-eat tasting at the Omaha Steaks Pop-Up, which offers whiskey-grilled steak, filet mignon burgers, shrimp ceviche, and tomahawk steaks. www.neoncityfestival.com
